I live in an area of downtown where there are a lot of squirrels. Why? Well, there are open dumpsters at all of the apartments in the area and there's a big park where people feed the things all day. I saw a squirrel dig a a full on piece of pizza out of the dumpster once and as it struggled to hold it, ate as fast as it could. I also saw one actually open a closed jar of peanut butter and then clean it out dry. I walk by the little creatures sometimes and I wonder 'how do they not die from eating that garbage?!' Then again, I wonder the same thing about humans...
1) I said 'no' to driving in this morning and took the bus/walked.
2) I said 'no' to grabbing a snack from vending and chewed some gum.
3) I said 'no' to a soda someone offered me and stuck to water.
